Figma Make Statistics 2026: Usage, AI Credits, Pricing and Figma’s Financials

Figma Make statistics come with an unusual advantage and an unusual gap. Because Figma is a public company, its adoption numbers sit in earnings releases instead of founder posts, which makes them easier to trust.

The gap is that Figma never gives a Figma Make user count or a revenue figure. Instead, it reports usage as a share of its biggest customers: about 60% of paid customers spending more than $100,000 a year used Figma Make weekly in Q1 2026, up from roughly 30% in Q3 2025, and weekly active users grew more than 70% quarter over quarter in Q4 2025.

Every Make metric Figma reports is a percentage or a growth rate. None comes with a baseline, so you cannot turn “up 70%” into a user count.

How many people use Figma Make?

Figma has not published a total. What it has published is how deeply its largest customers use the tool:

QuarterPaid customers with $100K+ ARRShare using Make weeklyRough count (my arithmetic)
Q3 2025 (Sep 30)1,262About 30%About 380
Q4 2025 (Dec 31)1,405More than 50%More than 700
Q1 2026 (Mar 31)1,525About 60%About 915

The customer counts and percentages come from Figma’s releases. The rough counts in the last column are my own multiplication of those rounded figures, so read them as ballpark numbers, not reported ones.

Figma’s Q2 2026 release did not repeat the Make percentage. It shifted to broader AI measures instead, covered below.

Other Make-specific points from the releases:

  • Weekly active users grew more than 70% quarter over quarter in Q4 2025, with no starting number given.
  • More than 80% of Make’s weekly active users on Full seats also used Figma Design in Q4 2025, which Figma described as increased adoption of AI workflows across the platform.
  • Experimental model support for Gemini 3 Pro and Claude Opus 4.6 was listed in Figma’s Q4 2025 results release.

An important caveat: these figures measure large, high-spending customers. Figma has not shared comparable numbers for individual users, small teams, or the free tier.

Figma Make’s timeline in the numbers

  • 2025: Figma Make launched in beta around its Config 2025 conference. Figma’s help center said it would roll out over the following weeks to Starter plans and all seats on paid plans.
  • Q3 2025: About 30% of $100K+ customers building in Make weekly.
  • Q4 2025: Weekly active users up more than 70% quarter over quarter.
  • March 18, 2026: AI credit limits began applying to all seats.
  • May 28, 2026: Canvas-to-code editing for Make launched in limited beta for Mac desktop users, per CMSWire.
  • June 24, 2026: At Config 2026, Figma announced Code Layers, which turn any design layer into an interactive code layer, with early access starting in July (CMSWire). Figma’s Q2 release says teams can now work directly in their production codebase with Figma Make.

AI credits: where Figma Make monetization shows up

In the sources I read, Figma Make is available through Figma plans and seats rather than as a separate product. It runs on AI credits that come with your seat, so credit limits are where Figma turns usage into revenue.

What the Q1 and Q2 2026 releases say

  • Credit limits applied to all seats from March 18, 2026.
  • As of April 30, 2026, over 75% of Org and Enterprise users who had exceeded their limits kept using AI credits, and over 95% stayed active on the platform.
  • Pro teams that bought AI credit add-ons had more seats per team and an average ARR more than three times that of teams without add-ons, as of March 31, 2026.
  • Q2 2026 was Figma’s first full quarter of AI credit monetization.
  • Over 80% of paid customers above $10,000 in ARR were consuming AI credits weekly as of June 30, 2026.

Figma attributed part of its $40 million full-year revenue guidance raise to monetized AI credit consumption, according to coverage of the Q2 call. None of the releases gives a dollar figure for AI credit revenue.

Monthly credit allotments

These come from Figma’s help center article on managing AI credits:

PlanFull seatsDev, Collab, and View seats
Starter500 per month (150 per day cap)Not listed
Professional3,000500
Organization3,500500
Enterprise4,250500

Seat credits belong to the individual user, reset every month, and do not roll over. Admins can buy extra credits through a pooled add-on subscription or pay as they go with a monthly spend limit, but the help article does not list those prices.

It also says Figma does not report credits by feature, so you cannot see how many credits Make uses per action.

Figma pricing in 2026

Figma’s plans are priced per seat, and Make access depends on your plan and seat type. As I retrieved Figma’s pricing page on October 20, 2026, it showed:

PlanMonthly (per editor)Annual (per editor, per month)
Free (Starter)FreeFree
Professional$15$12
OrganizationNot listed$45

That page showed no AI credit or Make details. A third-party guide (Banani, with a date I could not rely on) lists higher Full-seat prices, $20 monthly and $16 annual for Professional and $55 for Organization.

The two do not match, so the page I read may be an older version. Check figma.com for current seat prices before you quote any.

Q2 2026$370.1M48%136%

Other figures from Figma’s releases:

  • FY2025 revenue: $1.056 billion, up 41% (Feb 18, 2026).
  • Paid customers: About 690,000 in Q1 2026, up 54% year over year.
  • Customers above $10,000 in ARR: 15,964 in Q2 2026, up 34%.
  • Customers above $100,000 in ARR: 1,635 in Q2 2026, up 46%.
  • Customers above $1 million in ARR: 67 as of December 31, 2025.
  • FY2026 guidance (raised August 5, 2026): $1.463 billion to $1.467 billion, or about 39% growth at the midpoint, up $40 million from the prior guide.
  • Margins: Q2 2026 non-GAAP gross margin was 85%, and non-GAAP operating margin was 10%. Free cash flow was $53.2 million, a 14% margin.

Growth accelerated for three straight quarters, according to Figma’s Q2 release. The company also said AI inference costs were the largest driver of the year-over-year change in free cash flow, and the CFO noted that Figma bears inference costs for beta products that do not yet bring in matching revenue.

The Figma agent and wider AI usage

Beyond Make, Figma reported that its agent entered open beta in June 2026. As of July 31, more than half of paid customers above $10,000 in ARR were using it weekly, and more than 20% of weekly credit-consuming users on paid plans used credits only through the agent.

The company also said weekly creation of generative plugins more than doubled from pre-launch levels. These are broader AI figures, not Make-specific.

How Figma Make compares with other AI app builders?

Base44$200M+ ARR (Aug 2026, founder post)2M+ users (Nov 2025, Wix)

Figma and Vercel both fold their AI builders into a bigger product, so neither gives standalone revenue. The standalone startups report ARR but rarely audited figures. For a closer look at the category leader, see our Lovable stats post.

Figma Make statistics that deserve a second look

1. There is no user count. Every Make figure is a percentage, a growth rate, or a share of customers.

2. The data skews to big accounts. The headline adoption number covers customers spending over $100,000 a year, a group of about 1,600 out of roughly 690,000 paid customers, which by my arithmetic is about a quarter of one percent.

3. The most recent Make-specific number is from Q1 2026. Figma’s Q2 2026 release did not repeat it.

4. Some third-party pages cite the right numbers without linking the source. SQ Magazine’s Figma statistics page repeats the Q4 2025 Make figures but credits them to “the company’s product disclosures” without a link, though they match Figma’s own release.

5. AI costs matter. Figma has said inference is its largest driver of free cash flow change, so credit pricing is likely to keep evolving.

What these statistics mean if you use Figma Make

  • For designers already on Figma, Make is part of the seat you already pay for, and Figma’s overlap data shows more than 80% of weekly Make users on Full seats also used Figma Design.
  • For teams, watch credit limits. Professional Full seats get 3,000 credits a month and Dev, Collab, and View seats get 500, so heavy prompting can run out fast.
  • For budgeting, credits reset each month and do not roll over, and Figma does not show per-action costs, so test on a real project before you commit.
  • For production, a Figma Make prototype is still a prototype. If it needs to become a maintained product, a team that does custom web application development can take over from the generated code.
