Bolt.new Statistics 2026: Users, ARR, Funding, Traffic and Pricing

Bolt.new statistics tell a story of one very fast launch and a much quieter year since.

The AI app builder from StackBlitz reportedly reached about $40 million in ARR within roughly five months of its October 2024 launch, passed 7 million registered users by December 2025, and raised $105.5 million at a valuation of around $700 million.

What you will not find is a confirmed revenue update after March 2025, and that gap matters when you read any “Bolt.new statistics 2026” page, including this one.

Bolt.new revenue and ARR

Bolt.new launched in early October 2024. The widely repeated growth path, as compiled by Sacra and several secondary sources, looks like this:

MilestoneReported ARRTiming
First weekAbout $1MLate 2024
About 30 daysAbout $4MNov 2024
About 2 monthsAbout $20MDec 2024 to Feb 2025 (sources differ)
About 5 monthsAbout $40MMarch 2025

Sacra estimates Bolt.new’s revenue at roughly $40 million and puts its gross margin at around 40% as of May 2025. Gross margin matters here because every prompt costs real money in model usage.

The gap to know about: I could not find a company-confirmed ARR figure after March 2025. Some sites repeat projections of $80 million to $100 million for the end of 2025, attributed to unnamed analysts. Those are projections, not results, so do not quote them as revenue.

Bolt.new revenue comes from token-based subscriptions, with the Bolt Cloud add-on (hosting, databases, auth, and serverless functions, launched August 2025 according to Sacra) adding a recurring infrastructure layer.

Funding and valuation

Series B$105.5MJanuary 2025Emergence Capital and GV, with Madrona, Conviction, and Mantis
Total raisedAbout $135MDec 2025Sacra

The Series B implied a post-money valuation of about $700 million, and Sacra notes Forbes also pegged the company at $700 million in August 2025. Sources do not fully agree on the round details.

For example, one Sacra header lists a different 2024 funding figure than the round data on the same page, so check the primary announcements before quoting a precise total.

Two cautions apply. First, “registered users” counts accounts, not active customers, and many people try an AI builder once and leave. Second, a figure of roughly 1 million daily active users around March 2025 circulates widely, but it traces back to a single newsletter source, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed.

How many apps people built

The strongest hard number here comes from a Netlify press release dated March 26, 2025. Bolt and Netlify reported over 1 million AI-generated websites built with Bolt and deployed on Netlify in about five months, from November 2024 to March 2025.

That figure only counts sites deployed to Netlify, so total projects built are higher. I did not find a current, primary count of all projects.

Bolt.new traffic and audience

Traffic tools disagree, so here are both for the most recent month the secondary sources report:

Metric (March 2026)SemrushSimilarweb
Monthly visits5.43M3.8M
Average visit duration17:1315:41
Pages per visit7.076.62

Both are estimates from outside the company, as compiled by Panto (page updated August 21, 2026). For comparison, a different secondary source reported about 9 million monthly visits in May 2025, citing a newsletter. Different tools and methods make a clean trend line impossible, so do not read this as proof that traffic fell.

Where Bolt.new users come from

According to Similarweb data compiled by Panto for March 2026, the top countries were:

CountryShare of traffic
United States21.99%
India15.87%
Brazil5.35%
France4.43%
China3.6%
All others48.76%

India’s share is the standout for a developer tool. Semrush’s version, from the same compilation, ranks India first at 20.66% ahead of the US at 16.15%.

Bolt.new pricing in 2026

These prices come from Bolt’s own pricing page, read on October 19, 2026:

PlanPriceTokens and key limits
Free$0300K tokens per day, 1M per month; 10MB upload limit; Bolt branding on websites
Pro$25 per monthStarts at 10M tokens per month; no daily limit; unused tokens roll over; custom domains; 100MB upload limit; no Bolt branding
Teams$30 per member per monthEverything in Pro, plus centralized billing and team access management
EnterpriseCustomSSO, audit logs, 24/7 priority support, custom SLAs

The page says yearly billing saves up to 28%, and notes that token rollover began July 1, 2025. Some third-party reviews mention a $20 legacy Pro price, so check your own account.

Token-based pricing means cost depends on how you prompt. Long conversations and big code changes use more tokens, which is why heavy users often move up from Free quickly.

Microsoft partnership and enterprise stats

On May 5, 2026, Bolt announced a partnership with Microsoft. According to the company’s announcement:

  • Bolt.new is available through the Microsoft Marketplace, so buyers can purchase under existing Microsoft agreements.
  • Teams can deploy Bolt.new-built apps to Azure infrastructure.
  • Bolt.new connects with Microsoft 365 and Copilot, including sending a Microsoft Teams discussion to Bolt.new as a prompt.
  • The company states that 75% of the Fortune 500 use Bolt.new.

Treat that last number carefully. It is a company claim, the announcement does not explain how “use” is defined, and the announcement does not give user counts, ARR, or total customers.

The same release describes one customer, Digital Virgo, growing from 50 to nearly 70 seats within a year and cutting time to launch for an app from 12 months to three or four.

How Bolt.new compares with other AI builders

On traffic, Panto’s March 2026 Semrush figures put Cursor at 25.49M visits and Replit at 20.91M, against 5.43M for Bolt.new. On revenue, one third-party comparison (Tech Insider, last modified September 11, 2026) put Lovable’s ARR at roughly ten times Bolt’s last reported figure.

If you are weighing tools, we have tracked the same kinds of numbers for Lovable, Replit, and Cursor, each with its own dated caveats.

Bolt.new statistics that deserve a second look

1. The revenue data is old. The headline $40 million ARR is from March 2025. Anything newer is a projection or an estimate.

2. User sentiment is poor on one major review site. Trustpilot showed a 1.6 out of 5 score based on 204 reviews when I checked on October 19, 2026, with 83% of reviews at one star and 5% at five stars. The most recent review was dated October 4, 2026. Review sites skew toward unhappy customers, and 204 reviews is small next to millions of accounts, but the pattern is worth knowing. 3. Security is an industry-wide concern, not a Bolt-only one. Vibe App Scanner, a company that sells security scanning for AI-built apps, reports a December 2025 academic study (arXiv 2512.03262) finding that only 10.5% of vibe-coded apps were secure across the platforms it studied. That is not specific to Bolt.new, and I have not read the paper itself, but it is a good reminder to review generated code before it handles real customer data.

4. Sources conflict. User counts for March 2025 appear as both 3 million and 5 million in different places, Pro pricing appears as $25 and $20, and traffic differs by almost 2 million visits between tools for the same month.

What these statistics mean if you build with Bolt.new

  • For prototypes and landing pages, the free and Pro tiers are a fast way to get a working draft, and the Netlify numbers show many people ship real sites this way.
  • For production apps, budget time for code review, security checks, and testing. Generated code still needs an engineer’s eye.
  • For team purchases, the Microsoft Marketplace listing may simplify procurement, but check what the 75% Fortune 500 claim means in practice before you rely on it.
  • For cost planning, track token use for a few weeks before you commit to a plan.

If a prototype has to become a maintained product, a team that does custom web application development can take over where the AI draft ends.
