Tilda Statistics 2026: Market Share, Pricing, Ratings and AI Builder Data

Tilda is a block-based website builder known for landing pages, portfolios and editorial-style sites. You pick from ready-made blocks, edit text and images, and publish.

It is far smaller than Wix or Squarespace, yet W3Techs shows it level with Webflow in share of all websites.

Tilda is private and does not publish revenue, user counts or site counts in any source I could find. So this page relies on third-party detection data, live pricing, review sites and the few company statements that exist.

Data was checked on October 20, 2026, and each figure is labeled by who reported it.

Tilda market share

W3Techs, which detects what platform a website runs on, listed these shares on October 20, 2026:

PlatformShare of all websitesShare of known CMS market
Wix4.2%6.2%
Squarespace2.4%3.6%
Joomla1.1%1.6%
Tilda0.8%1.2%
Webflow0.8%1.2%
Duda0.7%1.1%
GoDaddy Website Builder0.6%0.9%
Lovable0.2%0.4%
Framer0.2%0.3%
v00.1%0.1%
  • Tilda and Webflow tie at 0.8% of all websites and 1.2% of the CMS market, and W3Techs lists Tilda first in the table. Both round to the same figures, so I would not claim Tilda is ahead.
  • Tilda by traffic rank (share of sites with a known CMS): 1.2% overall, 0.3% in the top 1,000,000, 0.3% in the top 100,000, 0.6% in the top 10,000 and 0.4% in the top 1,000 (W3Techs, Oct 20, 2026). Tilda’s share is much higher across all sites (1.2%) than among the top 1,000,000 (0.3%), so it skews toward lower-traffic sites. It recovers to 0.6% in the top 10,000.
  • W3Techs does not show whether Tilda’s share is rising or falling in text, and its trend chart did not give values I could read.

W3Techs shows platforms, not how many sites each one hosts in absolute terms, so you cannot turn the percentages into a site count without extra assumptions.

Users and sites

  • Tilda’s press kit says the service is used by “hundreds of thousands” of people worldwide. It gives no exact figure or date.
  • The same press kit says the editor offers 550 ready-made blocks across 29 categories. A January 2026 Yandex Cloud case study says 600+ blocks across 29 categories, so the number appears to have grown or the sources count differently.
  • I found no official count of websites built on Tilda.

Where Tilda sites are

The tech-tracking site WMTips lists 3,025 Tilda websites in its dataset and shows Russia at 83.4%, Ukraine 3.8%, the United States 2.7%, Kazakhstan 1%, Germany 0.8% and the United Arab Emirates 0.8%.

WMTips gives no collection date or method on the page, and 3,025 is a small sample next to W3Techs’ coverage, so use this only as a rough geographic signal.

Pricing

Tilda’s pricing page showed these plans on October 20, 2026 (listed with a “$” sign, currency code not stated):

PlanWebsitesAnnual billing (per month)Month to month (per month)Notes
Free1$0$0A simple site using a collection of key blocks
Personal1$10$15Full block access and a custom domain

The page did not list page, storage or traffic limits, and it did not show which AI features each plan includes. Check Tilda’s full features page before you quote limits.

AI on Tilda

  • AI Website Builder: Tilda launched it on Product Hunt on June 3, 2025. Users enter a prompt, and the tool builds the page structure, picks blocks, writes text and sources images. It finished #6 Product of the Day with 242 upvotes, and 13 reviews averaged 5.00 out of 5 (Product Hunt).
  • AI assistant case study: A Yandex Cloud case study dated January 27, 2026 says Tilda built its AI assistant on YandexGPT through Yandex AI Studio and brought a first version to production in about a month. It reports an average 8 out of 10 rating for generated pages and says there were no outages. The case study is vendor-published and the figures are self-reported.
  • Not disclosed: I found no figures for how many sites people have generated with Tilda’s AI tools.

Customer ratings

  • G2: 4.5 out of 5 from 76 reviews (page last modified August 17, 2026). Reviewers most often praised an intuitive interface (10 reviews), no-code editing (6), a broad feature set (5), helpful support (4) and the speed of building and updating sites (4).
  • G2 complaints: Missing features such as easy multilingual support and ecommerce functions (3), limited functionality for complex needs (2), and cost for multiple sites or advanced features (1).

Seventy-six reviews is a small, self-selected sample.

Wix’s price is from its plans page on October 20, 2026 and includes GST for the location the page detected. Webflow’s G2 figure is from G2’s comparison page, which gives no data date. I did not check Webflow’s pricing.

If you are comparing AI builders, our Lovable statistics page covers the software-building side that now shows up in W3Techs’ table at 0.2%.

A note on geography and trust

Tilda was founded by Nikita Obukhov, and its press kit calls him founder and CEO. The WMTips data above shows its sites concentrated in Russia.

A November 1, 2023 investigation by dev.ua reported that some Ukrainian businesses and a university department were using Tilda, raised questions about the service’s Russian ownership and payment channels, and said several business users planned to move to other platforms.

I could not verify the company’s current ownership or payment setup, and Tilda did not comment in the article I read. If you are choosing a builder for a business with sanctions, payment or customer-sentiment concerns, check Tilda’s current terms and payment entity first.

What the numbers suggest

  • Tilda is small but stable in share. It sits at 0.8% of all websites, level with Webflow, with no verified trend.
  • It skews toward smaller sites. Its CMS share is 1.2% overall but 0.3% in the top 1,000,000, by W3Techs.
  • Price is low. A Personal plan at $10 a month billed annually undercuts Wix’s cheapest paid plan on the figures above.
  • Company data is thin. No revenue, active-user or site-count figures are public.
  • AI is now part of the product. The June 2025 launch and the January 2026 case study show Tilda building prompt-to-site features.

If you would rather have a custom build than a template-based site, our website design service covers that route.
