Framer Statistics 2026: Valuation, ARR, Users, Websites and Pricing

Framer is a no-code website builder from Amsterdam, aimed at designers and marketing teams who want a polished site without handing it to a developer.

It started as a prototyping tool, shifted to websites, and in 2025 became a $2 billion company. In June 2026 it added AI agents that edit live sites.

Funding and valuation

  • Series D: $100 million at a $2 billion valuation, led by existing investors Meritech Capital Partners and Atomico, announced August 28, 2025 (TechCrunch).
  • Series C: $27 million, led by Meritech, in 2023, at an undisclosed valuation (TechCrunch).
  • Total raised: $161 million, according to Crunchbase’s data. That is a Crunchbase figure, not a Framer statement (Crunchbase News, Aug 28, 2025).
  • Earlier investors: Sacra lists Accel as a Series A lead in 2017 ($7.7 million) and as a participant in Series D. Sacra did not name a source for the Series D participant list, so I would confirm that detail before using it.

I found no new funding round or valuation after August 2025.

Framer Revenue and ARR

ARR (annual recurring revenue) is a run rate, not booked revenue.

2024$25 millionSacra estimate
2025About $50 millionFramer spokesperson to TechCrunch, Aug 28, 2025; Sacra estimate agrees
2026 target$100 millionFramer’s stated goal
  • Break-even: CEO Koen Bok told TechCrunch Framer had been at break-even for the past year (Aug 28, 2025).
  • Customer mix: Businesses are now the majority of new customers since Framer introduced business plans in late 2024 (TechCrunch, Aug 28, 2025).
  • Sacra estimates: About 45,000 to 55,000 paying customers and about $1,000 average annual revenue per customer. Both are Sacra estimates built from its own assumptions.

What is missing: I could not find any Framer ARR or revenue figure dated after August 2025. The $100 million number is a target, so do not present it as achieved.

Users and websites

  • 188,000 companies in 200 countries use Framer, and that number grew 14x in 12 months, according to Framer’s June 16, 2026 press release.
  • Framer says it powers more than 4 million published websites with about 364 million monthly active visitors.
  • In August 2025, Framer claimed over 500,000 monthly active users (TechCrunch said Framer “claims” it). Sacra repeats the same number.
  • Customers named by Framer or TechCrunch: Miro, Perplexity and Scale AI.
  • Y Combinator: TechCrunch and Crunchbase both report Framer saying 40% of the latest YC batch uses it. TechCrunch does not clearly attribute the figure to a source, and Sacra lists the 40% against YC’s Summer 2024 batch, so the batch is unclear.

These counts use Framer’s own definitions. “Companies”, “monthly active users” and “published websites” are different measures, so do not add them up.

Market share

W3Techs, which detects what platform a website runs on, shows Framer at 0.2% of all websites and 0.3% of sites whose CMS is known (October 2026).

For comparison, W3Techs put Wix at 4.2%, Squarespace at 2.4% and Webflow at 0.8% of all websites on October 20, 2026.

Framer’s own 4 million published websites and W3Techs’ 0.2% describe the same product through different lenses, so I would not try to reconcile them.

W3Techs noted in a March 2025 “fact of the day” that Framer had more than tripled its user base in the prior year. I could not see the underlying chart values.

Framer is small by share and fast-growing by company claims. Wix, Squarespace and Webflow all hold a larger share.

Framer Pricing

Framer’s pricing page listed these plans on October 20, 2026 (USD, before sales tax):

PlanPricePagesCMS itemsBandwidthAI credits

EnterpriseCustomCustomCustomCustomCustom

The page did not list separate annual prices, and prices are shown per month at the billing cycle you pick.

Sacra’s August 2025 figures ($5 to $20 per seat on self-serve plans and $50 to $200 on business plans) are older and use a different structure, so use the live page for any quote.

Product milestones

  • June 16, 2026: Framer launched Framer Agents (AI that edits pages, components, CMS content, SEO settings and publishing in live projects), External Agents (connects Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI to a Framer project), Branching (AI changes in a separate branch, published only when ready) and Framer Community (Business Wire, Jun 16, 2026).
  • Marketplace: More than 7,000 creators sell templates and components, and Framer says it paid $6.5 million directly to creators in 2025 with no cut taken (Framer press release, Jun 16, 2026).
  • State of Sites Report: Framer cites it for two findings: 53% of website work is maintenance and edits, and 70% of website projects get deprioritized. These are Framer’s own research, and I did not see the underlying survey, so treat them as company claims.

How Framer fits against other tools?

Framer is a design-first site builder, so it overlaps with Wix and Webflow more than with software builders like Lovable. Its External Agents feature now lets coding tools write into Framer projects, which blurs that line.

If you are weighing it against Figma’s own AI tool, our Figma Make statistics page covers what Figma has and has not disclosed.

What the numbers suggest

  • Fast growth, thin proof. The 14x jump in companies and the $50 million ARR are company statements, and there is no independent audit.
  • Revenue data is stale. The latest ARR I can source is from August 2025, and nothing confirms the $100 million target.
  • Small share, large claims. 0.2% of all websites sits beside 4 million published sites, which shows how differently detection tools and Framer count.
  • The pivot to businesses is real. Business plans became the majority of new customers, per TechCrunch.
  • AI is now part of the editor. Agents, External Agents and Branching show where Framer is investing.
